After breakfast, collect packed lunch drive to Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in the prime attraction of Africa – Serengeti National Park, a World Heritage Site! Africa’s largest and most famous park is an astounding 14,763 sq kms of wild paradise. Most famous for its annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, this is Africa’s best protected reserve. The “Famous Big Five” at your disposal during game drive – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino – all in African style! Watch out for the Impala stags, giraffes, water bucks and more – found in this area

Day 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Safari in Swahili simply means a “journey”. Nowadays it has become a synonym for wildlife viewing in the African bush. We explore the endless plains to discover the vast expanse and wilderness of Serengeti. Indulge, take your time and relish each moment spotting wildlife, We search for the most wonderful natural phenomenon, the Grand Migration of thousands and thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of water and food. Crossing fingers that we will see this, being something so natural and not manmade, we cannot guarantee, but hopefully we’ll experience it. Enjoy and cherish morning and afternoon game drives through the Park.
Meals and overnight at Thorn Tree Tented Camp
Day 4: NGORONGORO
After early breakfast, drive towards Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch. The Crater is one of the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, offering fabulous game viewing and is one of the only such places in Africa. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depend on the open grasslands are in the crater, attracting predators, the black- maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingos and is a suitable place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. In the evening drive to Karatu area adjacent to Ngorongoro conservation area
Dinner and overnight at Eileen Trees Inn
Day 5: LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast, collect packe lunch and Lake Manyara for game drive, enjoy morning and afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, the park is home of the tree-climbing lions but not guranteed to be spotted. Apart from the varied types of landscape including jungle, swamp, savannah and the Great Rift Valley wall which is a catchment area for the rivers which flow into the park creating the fascinating ground water tropical forest at the foot of the wall, there are also a large variety of animals including Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 400 different species of birds providing the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.
